The day Higgs Boson and Syria were both setting off fireworks
On July 4th, 2012, scientists at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, first saw evidence of the existence of a Higgs Boson particle, and the history of physics and science changed forever.
At the same time, war continued to rage across many parts of the world, including in Syria, where Bashar Assad seemed to be continuing his violent mid-life crisis at record pace.
Laughzilla was asked to pen the poignant punchline for The Daily Dose, fusing these two very different stories into one comic panel.
